The Lion and Lamb, Ashton is an outstanding family-run pub with a wide range and rapidly growing reputation for food and real ales. Standing by the A394 between Helston and Pannance it has a warm and welcoming feel with friendly staff.

There is always a minimum of three real ales available along with a wide selection of lagers and ciders.

Superb food is served from a varied menu of home-cooked meals and desserts, using as much locally sourced produce when available.

Children and OAP's can have half portions from the menu boards. We also cater for vegetarians and other eating preferences.

Booking is recommended for traditional Sunday Lunch in peek season.

The pub was awarded the "Chefs" silver award from Kerrier District Council in October 2007 and Gold Award in July 2008 and has just been reawarded from March 2009. The pub is in the Good Food Guide 2009, Good Beer Guide 2009, Camra 2009 and has recently been awarded the Cask Marque Certificate for real ales. The pub has been nominated for entry into Hidden places Cornwall for the second time.

We have a selection of pub games along with quiz machine, pool, darts and Wii.

Food Served: Between 12-2pm and 6pm-9pm daily.


All occasions catered for.

There are beer gardens at front and rear of the pub both seating about 50 people, with a large car park at the rear. Children and dogs welcome.
